My love, my dream of perfect bliss so close to real, yet still amiss. Your touch could set the world on fire or simply kill me with desire. Though on and on you turn away still in my soul, the dream shall stay. No truth was told, I'm left alone I did no wrong, yet still atone. My unknown errors of the heart somehow I feel so pulled apart. You only disassociate though you and I were born of fate. Tomorrow will your arms hold me? Or shall you stay too blind to see? |

I like this very much. I am addicted to rhyme and rhythm and this has both to the nth degree. Joyce |

born of fate All love is, just fate isn't always kind. Read, enjoyed, thank you much...though sadly. |

Sandra, Beautiful! Such vivid echanting images depicting love and fate. And as we are painfully aware of, they go hand in hand. Love, Elise |

This is a fine poem. Kathleen Blake "When red-haired girls scamper like roses over the rain-green grass, and the sun drips honey." Laurie Lee |
