Approaching the White…Slowly What am I supposed to do with all this restlessness, all this thinking of you if not write of you, words you’ll never read? Am I to relive nights I’ll never know again rage against a sin I don’t concede pray into a night that only begs to sleep perhaps…admit that you are gone. |

Some by memories live some so inspired die madly seeing you through of tearing out chunks in heartbreaths demand the swirliing moments elixer nepenthe in hand quaff slowly The range of motion of the mind is measured by ones ability to rise and rise again though the bloodruns savage cataracting eyes you paint tomorrows sunrise I doubt any of us are given a certificate of ease, a pass of painlessness to walk through life. Its vagaries though remember are our mirrors. And so we sow a soul. "life is more than a thoughtway of learning, it is a fight to be free. Be your own hero. Save your interior landscape. I think we can all relate to writing the hurt... not because that will make it go away but because we don't know what else to do with it... well done! [This message has been edited by suthern (edited 03-16-2001).] |

Powerful ending, my friend........Be gentle with yourself. Is a very rough place to be. I truly love your writing! "When people show you who they are, believe them" ~Maya Angelou~ |

This is very beautiful, but painful poem.Keep writing, it will help you through it all. A quarter of a century must pass, for the writer to understand what and why he writes. |

JLR, when you write onto the white your coloured thought could come to naught but write you must to build up trust and write you will sorrow to kill to bear the pain and rise again and so my song rise up, write on Kethry Those of us who refuse to risk and grow get swallowed up by life.
