Raven stood there atop the white cross against cerulean sky stretching its feathers so proud, carefree couldn’t see thoughts I was thinking “quoth the raven, nevermore” could he be saying without betraying He is not here, they took Him down, please do not frown for He stands at the door and knocks © March 16, 2001 |

Oh, I love this!! The Raven has always been one of my favorites. Well done! LW Poetry should surprise by fine excess...it should strike the reader as a wording of his own highest thoughts and appear almost a remembrance. -J.Keats |

A new spin on a old poem I like it Don't ever give in, if you do you've lost everything you've ever had and everything you hope to gain, but if you carry on your already winning. |
