Chaos Delight Struck by chaos of delight In the warmth of lovely bright A figure standing in the sun Tending flowers one by one. Moving in the colored flair Perfumed flowers in the air Hues of gold in greenery Took the very breath from me. A basket full of natures joy Next to a dress of paduasoy Floated in a breeze at play And filled my mind with émigré. I took her arm in fantasy A mental sort of ecstasy Walked with her the gardens lush And pointed out the singing thrush. She did not feel or heed my grace Beside me, or in mental pace She went about her garden chores Oblivious my mental pause. And sadly I drifted away Another dreams chaotic stray. |

I think this one especially delights me because I've been itching to start gardening (anything to get the baby plants off my kitchen counter *G*)... Well written, Seymour... I enjoyed very much! *S* |
