The Currents of Love Our hearts, Lost ships sailing, Within the dense fog of love. With eyes wide we guide sails, Billowing with promise, Filled with the warmth, Of a southern wind. The salt sprayed masthead, Spears through, The crashing waves of emotion. Headlong we plunge, Battling tides of passion, Blinded by white, Blinded by night, Blinded by love. No stars to guide us, No sextant to steer, No course set. Where the currents lead us, We know not. Unknown are the rocks, That we may be dashed upon, To be left helpless, Shattered and splintered, Too weak to fight the undertow. So we sail on With Just the hope, Of safe harbor. So we sail on, Two ships, Passing through the night. lost in thought, found in words. wanderer |

WOW, wandering, you have said alot. You never know what life will throw at us, alone, but when we team up with another, it can really get tricky. You make a good comparison between sailing into the unknown and life. Great poem, ME |

I like it. Don't ever give in, if you do you've lost everything you've ever had and everything you hope to gain, but if you carry on your already winning. |

I too, like the comparison of the sailing ship and life. We never know what we will encounter. |
