~*~ DANCING IN THE RAIN ~*~ Dancing in the rain ~*~ Water ~ drenching my thirst... Sacred deviation from routine... The wind is whispering... There are no rules to this game... You are free to dance; You are free to feel; You are free to rediscover... Forgotten dreams Stolen by the past Faith breathed into dreams... Life that struggled to survive... And prevailed through determination That dreams are doorways to reality... Awaiting the touch of the hand that Gave them birth... And the love that conceived them... ~*~ <3 ~*~ <3 ~*~ Dancing in the rain... Laughter drowning out the sound of thunder... Emotions unleashed…free falling beneath the stars Gently kissing the earth Tender tears from Heaven falling... Quenching my thirst Embracing my fears... Revealing my secrets... Erasing the pain of yesterday And rewriting tomorrow With all the promises of today... Breathing... Feeling... Dancing... In the rain ~*~ The breath of God will keep me warm And my wings will never fail me. |

Oh...this has such a feeling of celebration, renewal and hope...a renewal of the spirit, as the rain renews the Earth. Words so beautifully embroidered into the tapestry of the human soul! Jellybean King |

One of my favorite pastimes! I could feel the exhilaration through your words. (The eye of a hurricane is quite a thrill too.) Thanks for the smiles. |

"A joy" sounds like an accurate summary of this piece. I thought it was very nice. As is the rain. ~Allan If I had your eyes, I'd be blind. For I can only see out of my own. ~~Carly Van Dort |

Well written poetry! The poet is like a cocoon; in him the caterpillar of the past finds rest, and from him the butterfly of the future emerges. |
