The Shores of Alone

Another night closer
to recovery of myself,
the one you boldly stole
as you plundered my hopes,
my plans, and all our combined desires,
while leaving behind little broken pieces
of my heart.
Another night of persistent gathering
of leftover bits of myself,
attempted retrievel of sanity
which works to escape me still.
Yet I will survive in spite of you-
despite your cruelty so tempered with passion.
I will survive this bloody hell of desire
only to endure it all again
someday...

Sandra, in the brief space your words occupy, you've given us the threads of unraveled passion, and desire. Captivating work!

Catalina,
You've captured the sorrow so perfectly. But I know, the Princess will rise again, even stronger than before, and he will be the one left wondering and lost in the sorrow.

Just to get it out is a healing process, I believe, I trust that it is. God bless you.

(sigh) This is sooooooo powerfully heartfelt, sweet friend, my heart goes to you and I hope in the end this burning desire will be replaced with comfort and satisfaction! (kiss on cheek) This is sad but beautiful, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Sandra, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
