this morn
my heart wants to
follow you but my eyes
stay closed, lid gripping lid, needing
prying

Wynter I can come and pry them apart for you...but it might be too late! Oh well, I tried ....I enjoyed the write and I love the implications of keeping your eyes closed to avoid waking into a world of hurt....take care ethome

E, I am glad you enjoy my words..and interpret them as such..I am always in awe..as I don't think I ever get my messages across *s.. actually my heart wants to read the words this morning, but my eyes are so tired, I am so tired, I can't get them to stay open long enough to do so..although I manage now one word at a blink *s huggzz

Wynter -

this morn
my heart wants to
follow you but my eyes
stay closed, lid gripping lid, needing
prying

this precious morn
my heart is yours and
follows you, my lips touch
your soft eyes opening them
as they say good morning

So much said in so few words. I could relate to each one of them. Thanks.

Sometimes, I feel like that. So much said, in such few words, excellent!

A quarter of a century must pass, for the writer to understand what and why he writes.

Some days, it's easier than others. If it was raining there like it was here this morning, I can see why!!
