“WHAT WOULD YOU SEE” by Bill Charles ~~~~ If you were to become me, for one day, may I ask you to look through my eyes… At the vibrant color of a rosebud, as it opens in splendor with the morning sun… At the majesty of an enchanted forest, as gentle trees sway in the calmest breeze… At the softness of an early morning mist, caressing the meadow lying in the valley… At the peacefulness of a summer night, as bright stars dance in the sky in all of their harmony… May I ask you just once again, would you look, through my eyes……, as I… ~~~~ |

Oh sir I have to refuse. Don't ask me to see through your eyes. I'm afraid I could not do it justice and put it in words the way you do. |

BC, I think I would see the beautiful things you just described here. They are lovely. LW Poetry should surprise by fine excess...it should strike the reader as a wording of his own highest thoughts and appear almost a remembrance. -J.Keats |
