Await the Dawn

When life doesn't seem to be going quite your way.
Perhaps a lover no longer graces your day.
Happiness seems so far away and you hurt more than
you care to say.
Than you know it's time to let go and move on.
Even thou you don't know exactly what you should do
life still goes on while you await the dawn.
The sun rises faithfully to announce each new day
and every eye looks upon that same sun to take the darkest night away.
Although it true the sun doesn't always seem to shine when you find yourself blue
one day it will single you out and it will shine in all of it's glory just for you.
And happiness will be your new found friend
and loneliness will have to depart as the beauty of life sets in.
No one can take that day away because you waited oh so patiently for the sun to single you out and dawn your new day.
