At this special time of year,
A time to hold everything dear.
From my special home up above,
I send to you my special love.

God had plans for me here up above,
Here he has shown me his love.
I keep watch on your face,
As I fly from place to place.

My life on earth never got started,
And I know this left you broken hearted.
To those that I left behind,
Keep this thought on your mind.

God put me where he wants me to be,
Now I can stand by the crystal sea.
He has made me your Guardian Angel from above,
And to all of you I send my heavenly love.

Written in memory of ERICA CASTLE,infant daughter

Hey sis...you know I love it when you reach out to help with your poetry and this one really does just that.  You have the most loving heart of anyone I know and I am not saying that because I am your brother.  Well written this gift of yours is.

Completely beautiful. The depth of emotion and love in this piece left me with tears streaming. This is lovely, heartfelt, and wonderful.

This one touched me, but in reverse. When I was 8, my grandmother died, and while I don't recall much about her now, she's special to me(at 15, I looked like she did at that age; I have an old picture of her, and for a school thing or another, I took it to school, and everyone thought it was me in that painted photograph). I'd been thinking about her lately, wondering how she is up there, and this gave me a bit of perspective on it. thanks cb
