Kiss Me In The Morning

Another day without
my sweetheart I suppose.
Another day down that
long and lonesome road.
I'm not on her calendar
of events it seems.
She doesn't share my hope
and doesn't dream my dreams.
I presume she won't
call me today.
Why would she when she doesn't
have anything good to say.
Oh she could call and say
she's sorry once again.
But if she's so sorry why
did our love come to an end?
And why am I going down that
long and lonesome road?
And when will I lose
this heavy burdened load?
And where is the woman that
kissed me so passionatly?
And how can I smile without
her as close as she used to be?
And who will kiss me in the morning
and cook bacon and eggs for me?
LOL

Sadly lovely...
So sad but also such a
flowing poem..
I love it all
except for the eggs...
I am not a breakfast person!

JamesMichael~
I would kiss you in the morning
and all through the day ...
If you'd just cook the breakfast
to get me on my way !

Then perhaps a brunch
to continue a little nibble -
I don't care who serves it ...
Oh, sweetie, let's not quibble.

On to a snack
of afternoon delight -
then I'll kiss you until dinner time -
and far into the night !

JamesMichael
You've been kissed !

The "realness" of this touched me deeply. With a gentle smile at the end. I enjoyed reading this.
