daylight descends
and again
I rise to greet
the fading light
with open arms

night comes
shadows fall
across the land
covering the sorrow
of another day
healing the pain
of another life

the moon
does not rise
lest it reveal
too much to the eye
I have only asked
the stars to shine
as they guide
the heart home

at my command
the night wind
carries and caresses
the broken heart
healing the hurt and pain
that comes from
revealing too much
of itself
in the light of love

on those winds
the heart dreams
the heart hopes
and in that moment
I make them
come true

if only for
that moment

the heart returns
healed by the winds
of night
ready again to face
the trials of
the light

I have taken its pain
to myself
for I am the Darkness
and in my black light
the heart is made
whole
and love never dies

AD dear heart, I'm awed by this utterly beautiful piece of yours love, absolutely perfect. You know that if I could I'd stay within this haven forever. Utterly Stunning

I really love this one, the lines that keeps running through my head is in Romeo and Juliet

That all the world will be in love with night
And pay no worship to the garish sun

Absolutely fabulous
