Garden of love Walk into the fields of tranquillity’s bloom Wildflowers rainbow for hearts to consume For there is the place where sweet poems are read Of buttercup yellow and corn poppy red Stroll into the forest of your make believe You’ll see all the visions that you have conceived And I will be witness to your sacred muse In black elder berries, forget-me-not blues Come look at the old English garden of dreams A fantasy landscape more real than it seems With flowers more lovely than you’d ever think Of pale yellow primrose and water mint pink Step gently the pathway through gardens of love The petals reach out for the light from above And savor the wetness that fall on their bed Dahlia and hollyhocks sizzling red Pure is a love that so subtly grows In little white snowdrops and white Christmas rose And blossoms in radiance on life’s fragile brink of inky blue iris and peony pink From deeds come the beauty’s reward we have earned Lavender lilacs, green feathers of fern It mellows with care and enhances with age Rosemary lavender, purple of sage I’ve learned from the splendor, the essence of you Jasmine of white and delphinium blue I savor the stories you've written and told Dark wine-purple lupines and gold marigold The joy and the light of my morning is you White Shasta daisies, bluebonnets of blue You are my garden of love, so it seems Soft blue wisteria creeping into my dreams Elizabeth Santos |

Thanks for the little tour,it was lovely Don't ever give in, if you do you've lost everything you've ever had and everything you hope to gain, but if you carry on your already winning. |

Dear Elizabeth, I don't know how I missed this when it was on earlier. It is a lovely poem about a lovely subject. Good work. Joyce |
