Someone will smile today because of you.
An act of kindness performed in your name.
Today I am going to give someone a better day.
The kind of day you allow me.

There is something special in our friendship.
We have weathered many storms.
Standing together as friends should.
Supporting the other when needed.

Today I am going to make someone feel better.
Do an act of kindness for a stranger.
Something like we always do for the other.
This time it will be done in your name.

Perhaps someone needs a door opened.
Maybe a smile is missing from ones day.
Everyone could use a kind word.
Giving a hand to a stranger will be done today.

Yes my friend, today is for you.
You may feel a smile arrive sometime today.
If so, I just want you to know.
You are being thought of in a special way.
