A word of explanation I’ve been give some new duties that while they are an exciting challenge mean that I won’t have as much time at Passions as I have had. I have no intention of leaving all my wonderful Passions poets. I will still be popping in and reading as much as I can, and I will post too. I didn’t want you to think that I had abandoned you all, I haven’t, I love you all far too much for that. Take care, love as always,
Mushy

Time Calls Me From You

Time is a cruel mistress she calls me from you
And here my soul wants to remain this is true
Within this haven I can see the heavens shine
Here in this refuge the future looks clearly fine
Seated close, so near I sip at the essence of you
I can taste your presence in all I say and I do
Quietly by your side I want so much to stay
But time, treacherous time pulls me far away

Time is so careless she ignores my sobbing plea
I ask her, I beg her to let me return constantly
To sit within your charmed circle so very near
Close enough to breathe you, your heart to hear
I can touch your feelings almost with my heart
Hear you calling my soul to feel the peace start
Eternally I’d be content to be with you at hand
But time, wicked time sifts me through its sand

Time is a thief she steals me away all she will
And I ask her repeatedly beg her to stand still
So that I would have all eternity to be with you
Held in your embrace warmed by your love too
I could bathe in your spirit clothe in your light
Stay with you forever knowing you are my right
To know that I would never have to leave you
But time, deceptive time makes me feel so blue

Time is a conspirator she makes me stay away
I’m caught in her swirling motion, free me I say
I’ve pleaded and I’ve begged to be allowed this
To stay close to you to taste the air you’ve kissed
I wish so much to be always within your reach
To stay playing as a child happily on your beach
I’d remain ten thousand lifetimes by your side
But time, cruel time pushes my daydreams aside

Marsha

Take back the hope you gave,- I claim
Only a memory of the same

Cruel the clock that ticks you away ...
Understanding that we all are here at our leisure ...
we will await the sweet return of your spirit.

Meantime - be loved, be happy ...
Just pop in when you can, love.
When I need my HUG ... I'll come looking for you !
LOVE YOU ! !

Oh I so enjoyed that! I just arrived and you are leaving...so I shall look forward to seeing your work when you return, but in the meantime, thank goodness for archives. I know about that darn thief - time - mine is a tricky one too. Good luck to you, and that was a very well done piece of work.
