Tears I changed the day you left me; I am no longer me you see I went into a depression so deep and profound that I don't think I will ever come out I stayed away from people and school…. thinking they can wait, its all cool Now I've been told I should drop out of the class I love the most. How did I get here? Where did I go wrong? I've dyed my hair trying to hide all the pain I feel inside Please let your memory fade from my mind for now, so I can live Then perhaps later I will think of you again and not be sad You've practically taken over every aspect of my life You are in my dreams and every waking moment that I have Sometimes I dream that we are back together and everything is fine Then I wake up and you're not here and I feel the tears glisten in my eyes. |

You express your emotion very well, Laura. You will change so many more times and not all of them will be painful. Now, get off the computer and go to class! Ha! |

Laura, Very emotional and sad writing. It is never easy to let go and move on, but you have to persevere. It will get better. There will be a light at the end of the tunnel. Have faith. ((((hug)))) Lone Wolf Poetry should surprise by fine excess...it should strike the reader as a wording of his own highest thoughts and appear almost a remembrance. -J.Keats |
