Listening to every heart

Home Chime Home

My own windblown music comes
not from my lips, but as the wind hums
through wind chimes 'round my home,
music flitters right to my poems.

Softening breezes gently eases
twinkerings of delightful melodies,
softening my spirits as I hear it
delighting me with memories.

When winds howl with winter's scowl
the chimes clamor, oh just how
the ringing still sounds cheerful,
keeping winter from sounding fearful.

Somehow the music seems to bring
birds in flight and birds on wing
straight to mix in blessed cacophony
as they join with chimes' harmony.

In the night, in my dreams
the chimes join in my angels' scenes
bringing forth harmonious sound
enveloping me all around.

So my home may be noisy to a few
I'd rather think, however, that it's true
my home is more like a musical fort
and with that, I lift my Port.

I have a really large one in the LR and smaller one in the BR...shopping for the bath. Loved this so much.

Hi Sunshine,

I finally found someone else who loves chimes as I, I have them in every tree in the yard and the music is so wonderful and I know what you mean by comfort during a storm, this was lovely thank you,

Love, Cerenity
