don't tell me the dawn has come because I know that my arms won't let you go banish the light from my sight all I want to see is the dark brown of your night-filled eyes meeting my own in an understanding of the depth of our passion silence the sound of morning's first dove and let the beating of your tender heart be the only sound I hear and let my whispered I love you fill your ears and speak to your soul cool the first breeze of dawn and make it as soft as the touch of your hand to my cheek the touch of love the dawn has not come my love you silently speak and with a wave of your hand the darkness continues -------------------------------------------------------------------- To the world, you may only be one person. But to one person, you may be the world. |

May you experience many such wonderful nights my friend....this is very very good Sven! I love the atmosphere...you had me jealous there for a while. The poet is like a cocoon; in him the caterpillar of the past finds rest, and from him the butterfly of the future emerges. |

You've captured the depths of the best kind of love. It is easy to write of love.......not always easy to describe this kind of love. Beautiful, Sven. Thank you for the kind welcome back! "Success is going from failure to failure without losing enthusiasm." ~Winston Churchill~ |

oh I love this.....if only it were that easy...course with a pair of black curtains...and maybe those masks they use to keep the puffiness out of your eyes....course that's not very romantic looking (rofg) and then you wouldn't be able to see her eyes...nope...that won't work...maybe just read your poem outloud and let its magic take the light nice work here |
