Passion's Star

Sitting at the window's edge
Looking deep into the night
Passion stirring in my heart
Emotions that aren't right
As I look into the night sky
The stars are burning bright
Each one, a white hot flame
Of passions taking flight
I wish upon the brightest
Yes that one holds my soul
For your arms to hold me
Feel your charm's console
Even if this love is wrong
Its passion cons my mind
Hiding thoughts of reason
In dark spaces I can't find
Its blinking seems to wink
To me with promises of lust
Intensity of burning desire
Has needs become a must
Come to me by starlight
Envelop me in your glow
Take my face in your palms
Watch the love tears flow
In each tear is reflected
The beauty of your light
Tiny stars against the glass
Giving luminance to night
How many more like me
Sitting wishing from afar
For a love to set them free
In flight of passion's star

Here's your first post. I must have seen your post at the top last night. I though I was seeing your name at the very top of the page in the spot where forum monitor's names go. Well, it was late

Good write showing how passion, lust can muddy our vision and common sense.

btw...that's NOT why I didn't see clearly where your name was last night
