I Turned Around

saw you smile
then you laughed
silver echoed in the air

you didn’t see
that wisp of me
golden in the light

but I turned around
at the sound
enchanted

knowing you will
do well without
my presence

and still spread
silver
in the air

I loved this. Could see these thoughts come out of several different types of relationships. Beautiful, Lady.
