Say Goodbye I know It is difficult To accept But show Me The pride That is You Accept with Civility That I cannot Stay That what Was, Is no longer That our could-have-beens Were, once But the Differences Of us Became Indifferent You want Your way And tell me to Go your way [You don’t ask] While Not acknowledging My way At all Lopsided I am not Neither are you But you are Leaning too far Your way And even though I have stretched Out my hand To pull you Back to center You topple onto Me, crushing My gifts And in trying To get us both Back to center I apparently Have lost The lift I once gave you So while I feel Like a ship Without ballast Perhaps as a Single raft I can float it Alone And I can only Hope that someday You will find The anchor you need For the wind Has blown ~ I wish you fair Weather ~ The sail is set ~ The sunset Is my destiny write with grace, all others lose face; "Jo was very tall, thin, ... and reminded one of a colt..." I'm reading lots of life lessons here today, so many soul ties breaking...sad, but sometimes necessary. Good write! |

Lady--It is true that sometimes we must say goodbye, in order to follow the path that takes us to our own sunset. I wish you God's speed...you are the captain of the ship. |

With your writing I feel that I know you. Your words bring thoughts of another. Adding your writes to my library. Bernie Bernie Slicker (aka also: justsomeofme) |

Keep your rudder in the water - your hand on the tiller - I wish you godspeed - My prayers are with you. Whatever you find in that sunset I fervently pray includes a returned love you so richly deserve |

That our could-have-beens Were, once I love this thought and the way you wrote it. |

This poem touched my heart....I've said goodbye when my heart wanted to stay and try some more before...it's so very hard to do. |

Lady In White - you have written much here, many words with meaning and thought. I wonder why the other side never seems to see the side that we see, like what you have written. BC |

All of you are very kind; I will not try to respond to your comments, suffice to say that they should offer food for thought, perhaps a bit of insight on what is...and what could be... thank you all so very much for reading. |
