No Goodbye Eyes*

When the darkness of the night pulls
the moonlight into gold,
I'm torn between the innocence
of words trapped in my hold.

Reflections of my heart wants
the images of love,
a dreamstate to adhere to
created from above.

As time streams, past and futures
and rainbows hue my days,
the grays and shades of darkness,
on whispered winds will stray.

They take me to another land
blending me in light,
allowing mirrored thoughts of you
to softly kiss, in spite.

Naked passions, here in rest
viewed shadows, next on wall.
Reaching out to touch your shape,
laced open for your call.

Your eyes of deep, unmeasured, pierce
sigh me to their meet
as silkened paleness, overcomes
my dreams on satin sheet.

No goodbye eyes remain in mind,
just those when moments show
the loving looks that etched my heart,
and stay, while you must go.

~Wynter  * thank you Marsha for the inspiration and title

Wynter - I love the night, especially into the moonlight of golden thoughts. The below verse is most capturing.

the moonlight into gold,
I'm torn between the innocence
of words trapped in my hold."
