Happiness Chance

The Moonchild in me is straining herself
She wants out, in her nakdness all.
Tired of Wynter, and darkness of night
Is attempting a breakdown in wall.

Each phrasing she reads, of another's hurts, pains
In silence she screams out joining in
As the bruising of words, leaves imprints in mind
The empty takes over again.

Filling each morning with sadness of loss
Eroding each day of it's smile.
By evening the twilight loses it's glow
And the moon still seeks out to beguile...

But if only's are dressing her, ready for sleep
And the what if's are blankets to warm
The tomorrows are pillowed beneath her soft cheeks
As the nightmares keep count in rhyme/form.

Producing each day another in verse
Trying to learn each new dance
The Moonchild awaits her moment of bliss
When Today is her happiness chance.

~Wynter

When the time to shine in the beams of Moonchild arise again, the boundaries of Wynter will not go unclaimed. Adjustment and realization in what is your own comfort zone is the key to bringing peace back in your life. Wonderful write.

Each and every day, don't you think..Maybe this will be the day, the day when finally, at last, there is some happiness?
And each day, I for one, am disappointed. I hope you find it.
Great writing, as always.

Take care of Moonchild she is very special!
Excellently expressed.

A quarter of a century must pass, for the writer to understand what and why he writes.
