What do you do for her? |

In the palm of her hand sat the change she begged out of pity and spite for a meal out of four days. She held firm her dignity poised beneath layers of clothing to chase away the sting of winters hand from taking her last bit of warmth. Maintaining grace is a sham when others see you as nothing more than a fool in street garb laying down foul epitaths that sting. Allowing the food to sink in to her belly emptied of life she cries to herself and whispers her prayer for a colder night. [This message has been edited by Michael G (edited 03-02-2001).] |

This is sad! You've brought across vivid detail with it. Great use of imagery here! Sad, but well written! <*\\\>< I know not what the future holds, but I know Who holds the future. I don't question YOUR existance - GOD |

Well done Michael....and in Paso Robles, a cold night is sometimes hard to find... |
