Listening to every heart

0 posted 2001-02-28 08:31 PM

I will Write of You….

you are a very unique individual
capable of many fine acts
looking beyond your own soul
and taking on several tasks…

I have often read your words
admire so your writing
in a language I do understand,
and often find, inviting….

sometimes you wax poetic and kind
other times you speak your mind
then you gaze and glance romantic
oft times then you write semantic

how I envy your flutter-by moments
as you cause trembling of hearts
that winsome, carefree way of yours
indeed, a lovely, practiced art

but what causes me to stop
and read along fine lines
is the sincerity of your heart
and the care of it, refined…

one can pen, and one can write
and one can wax philosophically
but when one wears a heart on sleeve
then I would say, please call on me

call on me to answer true
call on me to write to you
call on me to whisper yes
and savor this written caress

so you have asked I write of you…
it stands above, and is written, true…

Truly inspiring. Thank You.

A quarter of a century must pass, for the writer to understand what and why he writes.

This inspired me to write for someone who deserves to be written for, has never asked and will never know. But I wrote just the same.

and you have done the poet a lovely justice ...
excellent tribute sun ...
sweet sincerety from your pen

Strange ... the desire for certain pleasures is a part of my pain.

Sunshine, this is such a wonderful piece. You have probably touched on so many poets. It touches me, very much too. I thank you for writing it to whoever.

Such wonderful moments and thoughts shared by you in this piece and I do believe that it is the reason that most of us are here in the first place. I can also see you looking in the mirror when writing this wonderful creation and if you weren't then you should have been. The cadence was great but the format were simply unique to your wonderful style. Loved the read.
