Just a few short days ago
I wasn't sure of my life,
I wasn't sure of what to do
or how to handle this strife;

but you, my friends, rallied together
and said a prayer or two,
although I can never say it enough
my thanks goes out to each one of you.

It's nice to know that even if not in the "real"
that your friends will always be there,
and that when you need them the most
they will listen, and cry, and care.

It fills my heart with gladness today
to know that I do not walk alone,
so a minute I now will take to say
thank you for the kindness that you all have shown!!

(Thanks all for your thoughts and prayers and kindness while we struggled through the illness
that we still can't define. Thank you all.)

It was not for me, but my significant other who was taken severly ill and now seems to be getting better, but we still know not what it was.....or is. Thank you for your thoughts. Hugs

Oh yes, I do know how "real" everyone is, sometimes ya just wish you could reach right out and hug everyone for being so wonderful.

As for reaching out and hugging all the wonderful people here....I do believe you did that in this wonderful thank you of yours. I am glad that things are looking better and I know quite well the power of the prayers that come out of this wonderful home. Lovely sentiments you share with us and we thank you for being a part of this family of poets.
