Haven't Lost The Love Something happened the other day. Something that filled me up from deep within. A person that means more to me then anyone, Placed her heart in unison with mine. It felt like a dream, a perfect dream, The ones you don't want to awake from. I Haven't Lost The Love. Has she? (I don't know) We held each other and exchanged words softly. A hug so strong and powerful it made my knees weak. How does she still do this to me? I know!! I Haven't Lost The Love. Has she? (stumped) Our eyes met as we gazed away, Smiling at each other. Flirting, the way it used to be. Covered in mud and soaked with water, She laid on to me and we both filled each other up, With love, happiness and warmth. I Haven't Lost The Love. Has she? (No) It is all still there, glowing and filling her eyes Every time ours meet. We Haven't Lost The Love. Never. I love you.... |
