Cloud of pearls trail darkened skies Amid the silence of loveless nights Breeze of damp filters dreams Alone in dwindling twilight sleep Beads of tears dance in pirouette Upon the velvet touch of flesh And still a mystery does remain How in a journey one has came To take in breath of new beginnings Banishing sorrow no more this feeling Resting now in surrendered repose Like seductive petals of fragile rose The truest symbol of love we know In precious bloom of yellow rose ~coco~ [This message has been edited by CocoBaci (edited 02-26-2001).] |

Yellow Roses are my favorites! You described them perfectly "Glory remains unaware of my neglected dwelling where alone I sing my tearful song which has charms only for me." |

Not only is this piece beautiful in it's description and imagery but it holds a beauty that would be perfect for sharing a special romantic feeling to someone within the folds of a card. Exquisitely penned my friend and such a treat to find one of yours here today. Thank you for the lovely read. |

Coco I can't say anything more that hasn't already been said except that I agree this is a beautiful write...I thoroughly enjoyed the mellow flow........ethome The poet is like a cocoon; in him the caterpillar of the past finds rest, and from him the butterfly of the future emerges. |
