Uptight Virginia Salter permanent ink pen paper of onion skin wadded up washcloth lying in the sink dirty socks under nose kinks in the garden hose “Have a nice day, Joe!” whether you’re from Kokomo white shoes on a muddy rainy day white socks or slacks oh, what a price to pay automated help lines that run 24/7 chattin’ with a machine is a long, long way from heaven milk cartons with a thimble full of milk dry clean only stuff made of ‘spensive silk lots of things in this ol’ world set one on edge, lead one to hurl what makes you uptight what sticks in your craw shall we have a contest would it be a draw © August 29. 2000 |
