(for dgv3..my brother..) always you lend me such confidence believing in what i am what i can be what i can do on my own sometimes i wonder if you realize the person in question-- its me its just me its still me always late for each new adventure watching and waiting to spread my wings rarely the flitting, independent one yet when i embrace the thought of an old idea that had floated aimlessly within my head you tell me i can, even though it me its just me its still me and just when i think you may be right just when i believe in me too she sharply pulls the trigger with her cold, cold finger and i fall into my dead, stagnant world again wallowing in confusion's tears looking up with uncertain eyes because its me its just me its still me and i ask you... if i ask you again do you think you can help me out of this pit... do you think you can believe in me again? its me its just me its still me.... -dgvarner (dgv4) 2-24-01 "there is no BEST in a world of INDIVIDUALS..." I don't know whom 'she' is, but it sounds like the tape in my head that keeps trying to thwart my confidence in myself and all too often is ahead in the game. I felt like I could really relate to this, yet it's not just the remarks of one individual that lifts me, temporarily, until I get a hold on my head again. Well done!!!! |

MAR..yes, i count myself lucky for having a good brother such as he.. and thank you for your kind words..
