Suppose... Suppose you trusted someone enough to give them your heart but they just abused it and tore it apart. So now you know that wasn't a safe place for a tender heart to go. The task begins to rescue your heart and take it back in. You carefully reattach it and you try to make it safe again. Give it soft and gentle touches so healing can begin. It's not the end of the world for you although it seems to be. Things will look up as days go by. Wait and see. Yet still I can imagine her standing in front of me. I am touching her and admiring her beauty. Of course this is only my imagination. She's no where close at hand, no not really. She's only in my thoughts for now. I suppose I'm acting sad and silly. Quite honestly I don't know where to go, who to do or who to see. Where did my dream go? I opened my eyes and found you walking away from me. I opened wide my arms believing in beauty I could touch and see. I shared my kiss with tenderness believing we would share a billion kisses warm and tenderly. Eagerly and willingly I gave everything of value to you. Now I have nothing more to give. My heart is broken in two. Suppose...I wanted something from you. Bare honesty always touches the deepest. Exceptional writing. Thank you for sharing this......... "The secret of change is to focus all of your energy, not on fighting the old, but on building the new. Socrates |
