Well, I posted this one so I could practice posting an animated picture from another site to here. I was able to save the image on my computer, but I'm not able to post it here. Suggestions???

Portland Head Light
Virginia Salter

So awesome, so glorious
Joy fills up my eyes
Filtered through my heart
Sung to by my sighs.

Crashing waves slap and play
‘Gainst rocky edges, brine
Boiling then, calming smooth
Through the sands of time.

Gull perched upon the peaked spire
That reaches fluffy cotton balls,
Screaming, laughing with pure glee,
To his Mighty Master, calls.

Sailor on the tide
Trusts in full his fate
The vibrant glow from rocky shoal
Hungry, thirsty soul, easily does sate.

Great poem, Virginia. As for posting graphics, go to geocities, open an account(free) upload your pictures there and then put the URL here. Preceed the URL with Just a warning though, geocities is not working for the past few days, so you'll have to wait on the posting pictures until they get whatever the problem is fixed.

Thanks, Denise! I just may try that in awhile. I sure wish I could see what was under the "picture promised icon" in your directions, though. Maybe that didn't come out as it is affected by the glitch.
