Blessings a kindred spirit has passed my way and not once to judge or take survey he saw through me and saw enough a heart so tender behind a wall so rough reached out his hand, called me friend knew too well, the hurt I mend calls me courageous when I feel so weak understands my words whenever I speak if I need him, I just whisper his name through saddened tear drops, joy to proclaim never alone on this journey I now take steadfast in the choices I have to make troubles and pleasures you can't comprehend I count my blessings, as I call him friend |
