Yes, my darling...help me to see the way you do; Show me where you see the rainbow of color In the most overcast of skies. Every note is inspiration...I listen intently to each word, Passing like soothing streams through your lips, Saturating the desert of my existence. Perhaps if I could look through your eyes, Those impressive windows of insight, I would not miss you quite so severely-- Each time I draw breath, Every night while I wait in vain For peace to honor me with its presence. I’d so willingly leave it all behind For the assurance of your radiant expression Every time I open and close my eyes. I know very well how merciless fate has been; I will admit that mountains of disapproval Stand jeeringly before us. But, my love, there is one thing Fate seems to have overlooked In its quest to block the light from your soul... The affect of your eyes on my heart Has released a surge of passion And inundated me with a lifetime of determination. So, my darling, help me to see the way you do... Encase my soul in your levity And teach me to paint my world with your brilliant style. -kh 02/01 everytime I close my eyes, I see your face, I taste you on my lips... every night I fantasize that I can feel you on my fingertips... |

I dont think you need to be taught to "paint" anything ... your doing very well on your own... excellent imagery SP ... as well as expression of longing and devotion very cool write jm Love is my religion, I believe in nothing else. To find that inspiration, live that inner vision. Love is my religion...I believe in you. ~T Kimmel |

This so beautifully says...love. 'I know very well how merciless fate has been; I will admit that mountains of dissaproval Stand jeeringly before us... In it's quest to block the light from your soul... The affect of your eyes on my heart' I really enjoyed and related to this. Thanks. |

Even if we know how to "paint", we can always learn new or better ways. Very nice piece! A quarter of a century must pass, for the writer to understand what and why he writes. |

Now I have to agree with JM on this one. I don't believe you need to be taught anything about putting a pen to your canvas world. This was both lovely in images and thoughts and so lovingly written with a passion of desire and peace both at the same time. Now that takes a real feel for releasing your emotions and you do it very well. Excellent write my friend. |
