I rest here,
In all that you are.
This open space
With its undulating hills;
One canopied by a wood.
Deep, mysterious, inviting;
Such is this panoramic view.
I wish to walk and enjoy
All that there is,
That which is seen;
That which is hidden.
This open space
Drawing me to explore;
To find, and share in
All of its secrets.
Taking this land
As though it were mine.
I rest here a while,
Marvelled by all I see.
