This is dedicated to all my sisters of heart, with all my love, for all you are and all you do this is my gift for you. Sisterhood Of the Phoenix Sisterhood Mornings come that are grey and cold You capture a rainbow giving me it to hold Sighs that I heave so full of toil and worry Instantly disappear when you say you’re sorry Surely this bond of sisterhood is so strong To you I gift with my hearts pure song Ever a part of me you’re etched into my heart Reach out and know that of me you’re a part So true and always there in times of need Out of the darkness I follow and you lead Footprints you’ve left here in my soul However without you would I be whole Each day I give thanks to my lucky stars And enjoy my freedom without fears bars Rare is the day that I don’t think of you Today, tomorrow and for my life through Marsha Take back the hope you gave,- I claim Only a memory of the same Robert Browning [This message has been edited by Marsha (edited 02-23-2001).] |

Wonderful tribute to your fellow poet sisters Mushy! I loved the heart of this piece..... it's just so you...keep up the good work! The poet is like a cocoon; in him the caterpillar of the past finds rest, and from him the butterfly of the future emerges. |

Hopefully I do not step into all femake territory but your acrostic is wonderfully done. They can be tricky and you handled your very well. AT "Time is merely change. It neither enslaves nor determines us. It is instead our opportunity for self-definition" |
