Flowers and Forever Time is a growing medium The soul is the power. And life could seem tedium though It’s only the flower. Some flowers glare a blinding light And set this world a flare. Some flowers bloom in dark of night You’d hardly know were there. But every flower is a prize The fruit of time and space Whatever, large or small in size It is a given grace. Enjoy the sands of time in pour Flowers die in sever A fain of evermore weather Vacuous or clever. And though we hamper the sever Only the soul is forever. |

Seymour~ I just love your thoughts this morning. 'Some flowers bloom in dark of night You’d hardly know were there. But every flower is a prize The fruit of time and space Whatever, large or small in size It is a given grace. Yes ... it IS a given grace. *smiling here* ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |

A flower is a fragile gift For moments does its grace uplift But even when the petals fall It is the beauty we recall And so a rose never belies It is a flower that never dies Lovely poem Liz |

Time is a growing medium The soul is the power. Enjoy the sands of time in pour Flowers die in sever A fain of evermore weather Vacuous or clever. And though we hamper the sever Only the soul is forever. ========================== I see you have been walking in your wisdom garden and it harvested this poem of blooming grace. love the premise of this ... the gift of its message tis a fragrant bouquet of your insight a lovely rose of your suppose and ya know ... where there are flowers ... there are butterflies *winkiewinkie* and Liz .. your reply verse is equally as wise and lovely Love is my religion, I believe in nothing else. To find that inspiration, live that inner vision. Love is my religion...I believe in you. ~T Kimmel |

Seymour this is very spiritual at the core. I love this ..."enjoy the sands of time in pour ...flowers die in sever....a fain of evermore weather...vacuous or clever." Well, this is very clever, the entire piece...on the exterior we are all different flowers as there are so many in the fields of nature.... but there is something there inside forever ......GOOD writing! The poet is like a cocoon; in him the caterpillar of the past finds rest, and from him the butterfly of the future emerges. |
