Foggy, Foggy Dew Virginia Salter Oh, the foggy, foggy dew clouds my visions well of you it mists the trees and eaves as I tempt pull up sleeves I could walk a hundred miles across high desert isles I could swim the sea of green in a faded winter scene I’d still not know the more of what my life was for yet I’ll search night and day for the truth of life convey And until my dying day I shall seek what I’m to say in a ministering word of the promises I’ve heard © February 20, 2001 |

I was reading this on my coffee break and those last lines sure felt good! "When red-haired girls scamper like roses over the rain-green grass, and the sun drips honey." Laurie Lee |

Thanks, Kathleen, glad you had a coffee break, too. If I can make someone feel good, then I've done a lot. |
