When this life gets you down.
Women come and go and put you down.
When they don't have time for you.
Tell me what the heck you're gonna do.

How many times can one woman put you down.
Could I let her go and look around.
And I was just wondering why I take it so personally.
Should I want to be with a woman that doesn't want to be with me.
Now I'm singing why must I so desperately
hang onto a woman running away from me.

When a girl tells you it's just not cool.
She feels out of place and uncomfortable,
why not just say farewell, kiss her goodbye
and wish her well.

And now I'm singing why can't I just let her be
and let what will be will be.
Girl if you don't want my company
hit the road I set you free.
Girl if you don't want to be around
other women are in this town.
Girl if you don't really care
why should I waste my time being there.

When a woman figures out you're not her soulmate why pout and cry.
She's the only one who can see who she likes and know the reasons why.
If you're not her ideal romance tell her thanks for trying and thanks for the chance.

Now I feel unneeded and I'm out of here.

Why be lonely just look around.
Beautiful women can be found.

And I was just thinking do I really care to be
with a woman that doesn't care for me.
How far will this pain flow til I say the
proper goodbyes and let her go.
