First, I would like to say I'm sorry for missing so many poems lately. I am here with the flu, and just now able to spend more than 5 minutes at the computer. Promise to catch up S I've tasted love a time or two and thought I did some other times The first so sweet, so rich and new while others turn to bitter wine. Dilemna comes when tasting need while insecure about the source I feel the love, and do the deed, but later, veering wild off course. Thus loving leaves me not yet full though plenty of him's been consumed still longing for the truth to pull away from lies which he presumed. The taste of love, so good so sweet can take a heart and truly heal. Again you feel the strongest beat and drink the nectar purely real. When next you're offered luscious taste make sure it's true, no drunken waste.. |

Impeccable rhythm and rhyme with a sweet message. So did you compose this before the flu set in? I hope so, otherwise the rocking motion might have done you in. Get well'er', soon! |

catalinamoon - sorry to hear about the flu, had it myself and goodness, sick isn't the word. Your poem rings so true, never knowing if a real one, or another is the one that's there. I did enjoy this writing. BC |

Catalina, "I feel the love and do the deed, but later veering off course". This is perfect... And you know I'm wishing you well soon.. Love, Elise |

If only that taste came with guarantees so we'd know up-front whether we were drinking from the hurting or healing cup! *S* This is great... get well soon! |

Well, I for one hope your next drink of love quenches your thirst for a lifetime. This was truely beautiful and so refreshing to read. Seems to be alot of water flowing in the poems tonight and I am really liking that. Welcome back!! |

Sad to say, I cannot write this well when feeling terrific, let alone when I have the flu! Well done! |
