There is much that I can do--
I'll paint your world in pinks of blue.
I'll ease the pain of gravity
cut the cord and set you free
even if you drift from me?
I'll still be here to see you through.

And everytime you feel an ache?
I feel it with my own heartbreak.
With every tear roll down your cheek?
I get bruises on my knees
from humble prayer and unashamed
into God's ear, I weep your name.

I tremble at the thought of you,
a kink of think--in pinks of blue...
yes there is much that I can do,
but never can I un-love you.

Your poem is light....

nice to know that someone is holding our strings in prayer when we go floating.

Well said Sista!
Love it!
