~Wynters Choke The other morning I woke up choking probably on thoughts, worried kind. Or maybe I sighed just a bit too much and the air trapped my feelings behind. I grieve in my yearning, I mourn to express. I utter to send forth a sound. But all that was heard was a wheezing of sorts, as the air inhaled, hardly was found. Eventually coughed after 3 tries or more and all that came out was some spit. For you see I have always salivated too much, and this flaw is so hard to admit. I nightmare my death, and it always in scenes, leaves a feeling of terror, no joke. I am sure that when death comes, my headstone will read Maureen died from a slight Wynters Choke.... * another poem based on a definition: the word sighing...and a true happening *s ~Wynter "The worst prison would be a closed heart". ...Pope John Paul II [This message has been edited by nakdthoughts (edited 02-17-2001).] |
