I cannot swear another vow
till I knew you? I knew not how...
and vow is still a word I choke,
but you, somehow, remain unspoke.

You are the soul's remembering,
no need to always call you friend
no promises to beg too proud
you are a simple honest vow.

A difference of spark within--
like sunlight gleaming in the glen,
a cast of light through forest's speak
a spark of snow on sunlit peak...

the etchings of the clouds in sky
the whimper in my song of sighs
the keening in my whispered why--
and every word I cannot speak.

You are wonderment, my love.
The very thing I'd not dreamt of.

Your writing is getting smoother and smoother. May I suggest you start submitting to the main site if you haven't already. And maybe even to some magazines. Go get a 'Poet's Market 2001' book and find addresses of magazines that are accepting submissions.

oh my ... me thinks the Mardi gras water has extra cadence in it today ...
(send me some damnit)
this is poetry in motion...
sang to me when I read it aloud...
and then lets talk about the imagery..
then lets talk about the shakespearean like summation lines ...
then lets talk about this going in me library.

your perfect lover looks like a perfect fool
you go running off in search of a perfect stranger

Well, I wouldn't have believed it if someone had told me that you would pass from "MASTER" status in poetry to "UNTOUCHABLE".......

I have been left in awe of you many times but now it is just plain envy. This goes in my library and I do hope you listen to Sharon when she says "SUBMIT" already!!!

So well said.

How I reach for words when trying to express the heart.

Then I feel the knowing and no pen can keep pace, as all pours forth.

My, my apparently Valantine's day, no, something someone has enchanted me. And I cannot deny nor hide, my not so silent words are hers. If she knows or not.

Be well this day.

Now, wait a minute! LOL. I've drunk that Mardi Gras water and it didn't make ME write like this! LOL Could it have been the added Chivas? *G*

Excellent writing, serenity!

You know Celeste you're doing something that I can't exactly explain to myself but it seems that your writing is dealing with life more simply but so much more clever than ever...if that makes any sense?? I love the direction you are going in lately...thanks.... your old poet buddy!
