                   Passions Poets (An acrostic)

Today I say thank you because I have a debt to pay
Hardly do those words seem adequate I have to say
After all you have done for me it doesn’t seem right
Not to tell you how I’ve followed your beacon light
Keeping my eyes on your beams guiding me to arise

You’ll never know how your beauty cleared my eyes
Out of the darkness of despair you all brought me
Until one day I noticed from the night I was free

Making this my home where fear doesn’t hold sway
You welcomed me and listened to what I had to say

Phrases of love you wrapped around my sore soul
Once I’d walked through your door I became whole
Everyone has their home their place in which to be
This is my shelter, here I found my own sanctuary
Surely I must have been destined to find my home

Outside this haven the fears I dread continue to roam
Fortunate am I that I leave them and not look back

Peace is in this haven not the torture of souls rack
As I drift here in the arms of love and souls ease
Swim or float in this protected pool not stormy seas
So to each one of you I say you have saved my heart
I cannot say if the shards would've been  left apart
Only that thanks to you all I have gathered up me
Not completely cured but I am together now nearly
So thank you one and all for listening to my voice

Passions Poets my friend and family of pure choice

It's amazing isn't it? No matter how you feel before, there is no way to describe how you feel AFTER you've become a member of this incredible family. This is a lovely tribute!

AD dear heart, I'm so sorry I didn't say thank you for replying to this, I can't imagine why i didn't unless ir was during the change over. And that might be it, but there's no excuse for leaving this so long with out a word of thanks for your continued and unstinting praise and loving support.
Thank you love i'd never have been able to do it without you.
