I'm not abashed to listen to a fast fallin' rain in the morning upon my windowpane and I'm not afraid to cry nor abased enough to try to be a friend again ‘cause that's what friends are for friends are for sorting out hang ups that we hide in, walls are for shutting out the love we feel and also after all I'm not demeaning enough to talk it o’er again to arrange my vocabulary when round about your friends ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ when I can't seem to find words to change the rhymes because I left them all behind sometime and I guess that's what memories are for, other words are for explaining about mistakes we might a made names are for calling when there's nothing left to say I'm not afraid of tearing up my ‘ol gray socks chasing you around & all that what nought and I'm not to proud to darn nor to proud to find some yarn to sew ‘em up again 'cause that's ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ what knocks are for you get my drift ? . Writing isn't just something I do, it's something I am. How lucky you are Lucky...couldn't have all that from Rosemary if you had to get a room ....wouldn't be the same.........I don't even have to say...I hope you get lucky Lucky! Reality seldom bears the possibilities of imagination! |
