Of Artful Strokes

The doorbell rang, a package sent
Signed and rushed to look
Wondered what was hid inside
The ribbon bound like book.

Untied the satin, opened up
The hinged lid, what was here?
Inside a note, handscribed from him
With thoughts, these did appear:

"I'd love to paint your body, hon
A canvas of desire
Passion fruit, so *blushingly*
My taste of you, acquire.

I'd cloak you in a chocolate sauce
And finger paint you sweet
But most of all, I'd paint you, love
From head down to your feet.

And don't forget the strawberry
The hues of red, so fine
Painting you will be my gift
To you my Valentine."

Beneath the note, lay in the box
Three jars, one colored "blush"
One of brown, another red
Along with one paint brush.

The doorbell rang, again this time
Delivery was made
Opened door, he entered in
But this time, he had stayed.

In his hand was one more note,
Attached to him this night
The gift was he, his talent, too
Of artful strokes...delight!
