They say that the hand of time
never moves in reverse
I’m sorry I beg to
differ... last
night
I
was
there and

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

there’s a few times
of year I've come to realize that
you’ve missed so much of my life these
days holidays pass and Valentines comes
another without you only little memories
few such a life past slipping out of
view I still well hide the tears
running so deep inside

lounging here in
a ‘ol rocking
chair and
thinkin’
that
it

has
ne’er
appear
quiet true

yet your so far away
yet still so near when you

dreamed me last night the years
had stripped back time to yesterday
decades turned to days and since the
dreamin’ woke me I was afraid I'd be
forgotten between now and when
we meet again I do have a life
if you could call it such yet
some thing all ways

appears so
missing
I tell
my
self
it isn’t
for never
but my spirit

just doesn’t bother listenin’
I close my eyes to find a rest
and there you are again &
opening again to the
shocking find it

is I who
am
very
missing

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

nothing seemed

to work for me it always turned
out bad mistakes were just a way
of life for me they were all I ever
had just when all this dark
despair was closing in
on me He gave
me love

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

sometimes

my days can seem so long
everything I do seems to turn out
wrong that ‘ol devil tries to break
my heart and tell me I’m no
good but instead of
giving up like
you thought
that I would
I crawled back
into Daddy’s arms
and started all over again

it’s the only way that this broken heart
could mend well He loved my problems
right out of me made my blind eyes able
to see and I finally remember God
has never forgotten me

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

I
live
half my
life in some
thing they call
reality and the other
half is spent in dreams this

reality seems quite confined to me. My
dream world has no value or boundaries
to time, and can any tell me which is
the real..? Seeing we spend half
our time in each... Where we
end up is... God only
can know...

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Need I say that
Michelle is
still well
and
knows
.

Writing isn't just something I do, it's something I am.
To write of feelings that touch all hearts in some manner is my delight.

Oh, Lucky ...
Yes ...
a thousand times yes ...

just doesn’t bother listenin’

Thank you for sending Martie this heart-hug.

amazing poem ... written for a special person.

Heaven bound on wings of love,
there's so much that you can rise above.
I surrender heart and soul,
sacrificed to a higher goal.

Honey, after all these many years, you can still reduce me to tears with your words and your knowledge of pain... thank you for giving this to our friend Martie - it's very, very special. Love, your wife, Rosemary

Marge

Need I say... I love you just as much... I hope she likes it.
~*Dale*~

Martie,

I do hope your not ever missing, because then I would be missing “YOU”

Janet Marie,

you seem to have a grace all your own, Heaven bound on wings of love, there's so much that you can rise above. I surrender heart and soul, sacrificed to a higher goal. Great great words, amazing depth.

Rosemary,

Tears arn’t bad, and they were never intended to reduce you to tears. My words, your words and our knowledge of pain does give us somewhat of an edge on the subject... Not that we ever wanted it... Who can know the mind of God and why he set us such..? I love you my dearest... thank you for so many years of love and devotion - and too, your right... It's a very, very special. love...

your husband, dale

Dale - you are probably the most incredible poet in these parts - I have no words to express how this struck/impressed me
