Always, Never Was The cotton like softness drifting towards clear swirling it's dances for eyes watching near A morning all whitened, pured for my thoughts another day's wakening, the heavens have wrought Deeper, and hurting, each knife twisted moan tired and dragging, hard heartened like stone Fear that one day, shall my epitaph read "Lies here, alone, yet never was freed." Reading of words here, insane some have said in jest, we're assured, yet sometimes it's read More than it's meaning, but that's what it's for to interpret for each, for minds to explore To "feel", to "think" to "commiserate" sometimes but today I am drifting in thought lost in find Wouldn't it be wonderful to drift soft in air like those snowflakes of cotton that land gently there With warm sunshine resting upon cold of white To then melt into oblivion, freed, worryless this night. ~Wynter "The worst prison would be a closed heart". ...Pope John Paul II |

Yes, everyone should feel the kind of freedom you described here, Wynter, beautiful. "I walked beside the evening sea and dreamed a dream that could not be." George William Curtis |

Fear that one day, shall my epitaph read "Lies here, alone, yet never was freed." ********************************************** Lots of good lines in this one, but I keep coming back to these. That's a pretty scary thought. I suppose in a way we are never really free of people who once walked beside us. I've been in a mood swing week myself, so maybe feel this a bit more than usual. Hope you feel better soon. To love another person is to see the face of God. - Les Miserables Marilyn |
