If somehow I should stop, Say your name out loud, How would I explain, The reason for this slip, Would it be the way you loved me, The way you seen right through me? The way you knew my every thought, And for all of me you sought, Oh my darling of remiss, How could I not think of you with This bliss, When you have shown me what it is To love. So should I explain the slip, So nonchalantly from my lips, Or just somehow casually, Change the frame of mind. Not as easy as it sounds, But sometimes love isn't easy, When it's over said and done. |

It seems hard to forget those loves that we miss......and the names linger on our tongues, even when we don't want them to! Loved this one!! ~~~ enjoy yourself ~~~ it's later than you think! |

sometimes, it is very hard but easier as time passes, and I guess that's all you can do, not saying that I'm not happy, but I guess we all tend to reminisce at times. |

RoseBud~ I like it when the tongue trips over the thoughts of the mind. Enjoyed this read. ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |

Looking back can be a good thing at times. Nice writing. ![]() Poetry should surprise by fine excess...it should strike the reader as a wording of his own highest thoughts and appear almost a remembrance. -J.Keats |
